Volunteers required - Your community needs you!
Like many community based organisations we rely on the goodwill and time donated by people willing to help fellow members of their communities.
However, unlike many we can provide formal qualifications which can then help you in other areas.
Heywood New Heart Community Transport normally charge for MIDAS Training courses but in return for a commitment from individuals willing to undertake some volunteer work for a fixed number of hours we will provide MIDAS training for a nominal charge to cover costs. You never know you may enjoy yourself so much you stay on as a volunteer beyond your committed hours.
Directors required
Heywood New Heart Community Transport Ltd is operated by a combination of full time staff and overseen by a Board of Directors. The Directors ensure the organisation stays on track and use their skills and knowledge to guide the staff.There is no maximum size to a board and we are keen to hear from individuals willing and able to contribute and add to the skills already present. Time commitments will vary but average 5-6 hours per month with attendance at one meeting a month. If you require further details please download an application pack from here.
